Oatmeal Hack

We all have it narrowed down pretty tightly whether or not we like oatmeal. Some of us don’t like the texture, some don’t like the flavor whatever it may be if you are willing to give oatmeal another try I have just the recipe for you.

I kind of discovered this by accident, I had wanted to try this “Overnight Oats” recipe I had seen around but didn’t pay it much mind. They all said it had to be quick oats and such and I am not personally a fan of quick oats. I like Steel Cut Oats or Old Fashioned Oats.

I had bought this new product from Trader Joe’s called “Ancient Grain & Super Seed Oatmeal”, it has rolled oats, quinoa, and amaranth flakes with sunflower, pumpkin, hemp, flax and chia seeds. I therefore decided I would try my own version of “Overnight Oats” with this and hoped for the best. You can really use whatever oats your heart desires, the end result will still be yummy! I tripled the recipe so the vanilla and cinnamon measurements are based on that.

Enjoy!
