Pig Tale Restaurant Nashua, NH

Pig Tale Restaurant in Nashua, NH sits on Amherst Street in a cozy, energetic nook of the plaza there. Bustling with people and filled with aromatic smells it is the place to go for good eats and great service. I had been going back and forth on Twitter with them about food (of course) that I posted up and what my favorites were. I had heard of them before through a friend who said I should try them and I decided to head up on Friday after a long week. It was the perfect choice and in addition to trying a couple appetizers, their pasta was phenomenal and flavorful. I was impressed by the quality of the food, and liked that the pasta portions were just enough and not overwhelming. The flavors of the appetizers were addicting; from the Wings with a Memphis dry rub to the Deviled Eggs with Bacon. The presentation was also beautiful of each dish and made my mouth water. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their …

The Corner Cafe-Lowell, MA

Saturdays and Sundays are the days we go out and find breakfast places. Whether we go to our favorites or find new favorites it has been a thing since the beginning of this year and I love it. Breakfast/Brunch is one of my favorite meals of the day, but let’s be real. . . every meal is my favorite!!! :):):) The Corner Cafe has been open since February and it popped up on my search today when I was looking for spots to eat. I am so glad we found this spot, the food was amazing, the service excellent and the ambiance warm & welcoming. We will definitely be back. Our waitress Christina was super nice and invited us to the Grand opening which is tomorrow April 4th, so if you are around check it out.  I told her I was a local blogger and was excited about eating here. Being a food blogger, while making me work out so much more is fun because I meet all sorts of different people and I become an …

Grassfields Food & Spirits- Andover, MA

On Saturday before going to see a movie myself, Roose and friends decided we wanted to have a good meal before heading to the theater. Since I was recovering from a stomach bug, I was still not feeling 100%. The only cuisines that sounded remotely appetizing were Seafood or American Grill style which if you know me is so unlike me 🙁 . We settled on Grassfields Food & Spirits which is located right on Main St in Andover. We waited about 15 minutes to get seated and our waitress came right over once we were seated to take our drink orders. This is where it became slightly problematic, three out of the four of us ordered waters, and then one juice order. The waters came pretty quickly, but the juice didn’t arrive until after we had received our appetizer. Our waitress brought us the complimentary bread, once we had ordered the appetizer, this was very good. Nice and fluffy. The appetizer ordered was the Coconut Crusted Shrimp, with a Citrus Sauce. These were phenomenal, order …

UnchARTed Art Gallery & Restaurant- Lowell, MA

When our plans changed my wonderful lady friends and I decided we would all meet up at UnchARTed a wonderful new and hip Art Gallery and Restaurant located on Market Street in Downtown Lowell. The minute you walk in the ambiance fills you with good vibes, warmth and hospitality that is so true to Lowell’s community roots. On top of being a wonderful place to hang out, you can also eat amazing food, drink different craft beers ,wonderful wines and be in the company of local community artists, musicians, business owners and food blogger’s (like myself of course) 🙂 The Artist on display at UnchARTed right now is Dan Rocha and his art is both a mix of edgy and eccentric with just a touch of bright vibes.  Check out the opening of the art show this Saturday at 4pm, their Facebook has all the details! Lets get down to business, in plain talk lets talk about the food. While their menu has a mix of pizza, salad, soup and sandwiches we focused primarily on the …

Grazie Wood Fired Grille-Dracut MA

Authentic Italian food is always something to look forward to if you can find it without going to the North End in Boston or taking an overseas trip to Italy. In Grazie we found this authentic food and so much more. The ambiance, the people, the location; all worthy of a second look. I have mentioned in the past that Roosevelt is from Italy so when we eat Italian food we are probably more picky than most. When he looked at the menu he said” this is definitely Italian and the chef is either Italian or was taught in Italy”. The menu was impressive with a vast array of food choices. The wine list was extensive and carefully selected. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures and what this place had to offer. It’s worth a visit and I am so glad we went tonight and had an amazing meal. Riesling Focaccia w/Red Sauce Agnello Fritto: (Lamb) Truffle Aioli, Agrodolce & Pistachio Cream Another shot Parppardelle al Cinghiale: house made parppardelle, braised boar and …

Boston Public Market-Day 1 Adventures

This was my first time visiting Boston Public Market on Hanover St in Boston. I fell in love, didn’t get to see everything in one visit but tried some things that i really enjoyed and bought some fantastic products! Homemade Mozzarella Donuts from Union Square Donuts Triple Berry Jam Merlot Jam Baked goods from Swissbakers Spicy Farmers Cheese I was able to see Sweet Lydia’s which was home grown in Lowell and then they got a space at BPM after a very successful Kickstarter program. We sampled the Mocha Marshmallows. YUM. Loved the atmosphere and the home grown feel of the place even though there were a ton of vendors. My foodie heart was in heaven. 🙂   For dinner with went to an Argentinian/Italian Fusion restaurant called Dicor in N.Andover. Highlights of the meal were: Beef and Chicken Empanadas Chicken Saltimboca Cannolis Dulce De Leche Flan The restaurant itself was empty but this weekend is extremely cold and many people weren’t out and about like we crazy people were 🙂 Decent meal, very nice …

Bishop’s Legacy Restaurant-Lowell, MA

Bishop’s Legacy Restaurant originally started in Lawrence, MA many, many years ago. When the owners retired it shut down in 2001. A breath of life has been put into this new version of Bishop’s while still keeping it close to home and I am happy to say when I went last night it was everything I expected it to be and more. When I originally went to Bishop’s back when it opened last year there were still some growing pains, which can be said of almost any new business just starting up and getting all the pieces in place can take time. This time everything was on the money and I couldn’t be happier to see another great restaurant grace our historical downtown. We walked in late last night about half an hour before close for a quick dinner out and we were immediately greeted by Div who made us feel very welcome in everything. He took our order from us and quickly brought it to the kitchen. The ambiance is calm and warm with …

Lots of Eats Thai Kitchen-N. Andover, MA

Do I eat too much? NEVER. Such is the life of a food blogger and one I will continue living until I try as many different dishes as I possibly can. I love writing my thoughts about food because I feel that in some way food can connect us to the cultures and places where they came from. Lots of Eats out of N. Andover is Thai food inspired by Thai street food. The authenticity that comes across with all their dishes and the flavors behind them, is all simply superb. They have so many different options that it took us longer than usual to decide what we wanted to eat, but I get ahead of myself. When we first arrived the place was brimming with people and since we hadn’t made a reservation we waited at the bar until our table was ready. The hostess and the bartender were both super nice and we only waited about 10-15 minutes. Once seated they were pretty quick to come by and ask us if we wanted …

Horseshoe Grille-N.Reading, MA

Enjoying food is something I always try to do and I share these experiences on social media when I do. When restaurants reach out to me asking me to try them out and see what they have to offer I am always more than willing to try it and give my honest opinion. This post along with several others I will be writing will be presented in a different way than most. I will outline what I loved about each place and what could be better. This is to give my readers the best possible insight I was invited via Twitter to Horseshoe Grille in N.Reading and I decided to go along with Roosevelt and friends this past weekend to try it out. Location was easy to get to, look of the restaurant was very relaxing but modern. I had made a reservation via their website which was quick and easy and we were quickly ushered in. We were seated in front of the fireplace which was warm and toasty and a waitress quickly came by …

Breakfast Gem-Connector Cafe & Grill

Connector Cafe & Grill has been in my breakfast rotation fro some time now. Roosevelt and I go quite often and I have taken friends there and I have enjoyed every single piece of food they have prepared. I have never had a bad day there, never an under cooked or overcooked item of food and never a rude waitress. It is a true gem and the owner Christina is so friendly and goes out of her way to explain things like “Bulletproof Coffee”, which is quite “Bulletproof” when you are going about to all sorts of places and need a lot of energy. When I asked Christina how the Cafe came about especially the Paleo Menu she told me this great story and I wanted to include an excerpt so the rest of you can go and enjoy breakfast or lunch and be happy on any day you choose to be with great food and great people. We opened 4 years ago as just a breakfast & lunch cafe.  We saw a small Paleo menu …
