Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology-Day 2

This past Sunday was a day filled with many adventures. Most within the walls of the great Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology. I was so amazed at the amount of history and exhibits inside these walls and I cannot wait to go back.

The day started off at the wonderful La Qchara, a place that I’ve been to before and love. The food, atmosphere and coffee is simply the best I have had in the area and I try to make excuses to travel  35 minutes just for food. 🙂 It was the perfect fuel for a day filled with roaming the halls of the insanely large museum and for traipsing through the bitter cold to get there. 🙂

Afterwards we made our way to wonderful Cambridge, MA to find this museum that we all fell in love with. From the outside it didn’t look like much, once we finally arrived after walking 10 minutes in the brutal negative degree weather , the inside swept us away in a myriad of treasures and history. From the wonderful Native American historical exhibits to weapons to dinosaurs to animals and beyond there was something for everyone. So much to see and in the two hours we were there, we managed to see quite a bit. For only 12 dollars a person it was a steal! I hope you enjoy all the pictures, and try to make it out there if you can. It is so worth a visit and you will learn so much!
