Mami Luz Cafe – Tyngsboro MA

There is no sincere love than the love of food – George Bernard Shaw

Mami Luz Cafe, a recent addition to Tyngsboro, has become a new favorite of mine. With Colombian inspired dishes, great flavors, and lovely ambiance it is the perfect spot to have a bite to eat and relish in the warmth of their kindness.

I have been a handful of times already and have tried a variety of different items on their menu. Their coffees are delicious, and a particular favorite of mine the “Cafe Bon Bon” calls my name every time I go. They are family-run and opened up during the Pandemic and along with their sister restaurant nearby have been doing their best; sharing their love of food and bringing some foodie fervor into the community.

You all know I love exploring new places whether it’s traveling to see someplace I haven’t before or to try new food. Mami Luz does an excellent job of mixing Colombian and American cuisine in a way that makes you want more. One thing that always stands out to me is their sauces and drizzles. From the dipping sauce for their empanadas or the drizzles on their toasts and plates. All the flavor is beyond tasty and super fresh. They also have a really cool bar and seating area, which is the best of both worlds: artisan coffee and craft cocktails. The Maven was very impressed with their cocktail selection and I had a guava mimosa one of the times I went. Absolutely divine!

It is definitely worth a visit, so if you haven’t had a chance to check them out yet, make a visit and check out one of our new additions to the Merrimack Valley!

Now let’s get into the food please and thank you! 🙂

The Gobbler | Roast turkey, arugula, tomatoes, jack cheese sun-dried tomato pesto on Focaccia

Chicken Empanadas, with dipping sauce

Chicken & Waffles | Fried buttermilk chicken served over a Jalapeno Cornbread waffle, topped with maple syrup

C.A.T. | Toasted Sourdough with our guacamole spread, topped with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese & drizzled with a balsamic glazed reduction

La Colombiana | A traditional Colombian Dish consisting of Scramble eggs (Perico) and the main part of this meal is the Arepa (Griddled corn cake with cheese) served with a side of Pork belly.

Remember that Cafe BonBon & Guava Mimosa I spoke about? Here it is.

Cafe BonBon is a triple-layered coffee: Sweetened condensed milk, espresso, and whip

Mami Luz is doing a great job and pivoting their business where needed and makes for an incredible Brunch location. You can also do takeout! You know what I always say, support local. This doesn’t just mean going to a restaurant, boutique, or other small business. It means sharing their posts on social media, liking, talking about it, and more. There are SO MANY ways to support. So be part of the change that make sour communities what they are and support small businesses!

Hope you are all staying safe and warm.

xoxo,
