I am still thinking about the mac and cheese from Firefly’s; and I went last week! Food to me has always been about the experience you have while eating it and my experience at Firefly’s was fantastic in every way. From the starters ( I am looking at you scallops!) to the dessert it was a great dining adventure and everyone was so incredibly nice. I truly enjoyed my time there along with fellow food & travel blogger Beya.
Steve Uliss the founder, executive chef and owner of Firefly’s has truly created an environment where people can go and have a good time with their friends and loved ones, eat some really enjoyable food and leave happy. Watching the service at the restaurant, not only from the wait staff but from the owner himself was a great thing to see and when you combine that with good, close to the heart food you get a place you keep wanting to come back to. You can read about Steve’s journey here.
Also, how can you go wrong when you have a wall dedicated to hot sauce… yes HOT SAUCE! Ranging from mild to the insanely spicy, fall flat on your face type hot sauce it was so fun exploring the different types and figuring out which ones we could eat. Loved that added touch to the restaurant. Now do you all want to see the food or what?
