The Ball: Hair, Nails & Makeup

This whole journey has been super fun for me. I love being pampered but then again who doesn’t?  Lowell, MA has everything you need to get ready for an event like The Ball, presented by Made in Lowell. I worked with both local businesses and local consultants and wanted to highlight all of their abilities and what they offer.

Businesses highlighted:

Indigo Spa & Salon

Elaine G. Independant Mary Kay Sales Director

Eyeful Beauty

Ayesha Jams Independant Consultant

Indigo Spa & Salon– They offer so much, you can go there for the day and get everything you desire to get yourself pampered and looking amazing. They are known for hair and  are certified Ouidad stylists, this is for women with ethnic hair, very curly hair or wavy hair. I actually have an appointment booked for a Ouidad style and I cannot wait.

They also do eyelash extensions, tanning, massages, nails and are a full service hair salon. The environment is so incredibly relaxing and inviting and its located right in historic Downtown Lowell.

I got my nails done when I came to Indigo Spa & Salon, but I’ve already scheduled a massage for Roosevelt and a hair style for myself and I look forward to spending a whole day there very soon for another blog post I want to write. Amazing experience.

Elaine G. Independant Mark Kay Sales Director– I met Elaine before and I have covered a couple events with her and Ani from Humanity Boutique. She gave me a great look and showed me what would work best with my face and skin tone. She is a local grown entrepreneur and also helps the community in many ways. She will help you with your skin care and make up needs and will work with your schedule and make you look great for night out!

Eyeful Beauty-Located on Middle St in Downtown Lowell you can find this super quirky, full service hair salon. I made an appointment with Nikki the updo and makeup specialist because I wanted to see what different retro/gatsby looks I could do for my hair. She was super helpful and I was able to wear out the last hairstyle out around town feeling like I just walked into the 1950s. Had a fun time there. Check them out.

Ayesha Jams Independant Consultant– I met Ayesha at an event at Humanity. Jamberry Nails is a pretty cool alternative to a regular mani/pedi if you want some cool designs, are on the go or just want to do it yourself. I always have a blast when I am doing my own Jam Nails and Ayesha really steps it up as an entrepreneur. I’ve done two “Jamicures” and loved my results!
