Donut Kill My Vibe | A Galentines Donut Adventure

Galentine’s Day – a day to celebrate the ladies in your life, is one I embraced wholeheartedly this year  when I was invited to go on a Donut adventure in the Rhode Island area with a couple of my lady friends. Although Galentine’s day is TODAY, we celebrated a few days early this past weekend by filling ourselves with delicious donuts from several donut shops and having a grand ol’ time.

I was whisked away this past Saturday on an adventure with Erika & Aleks, two friends of mine who are wonderful human beings and believe in inspiring and encouraging women in their endeavors. I really would like to repeat this adventure over and over again. RI Food Fights was the host of this event called  “BestDonutsRI: Love Fest” in which you have a “donut passport” which grants you a complimentary donut at each location participating. We ended up going to six donut shops before calling it a day and they were all delicious and unique in their own way.

Not only is an adventure like this great to take your gal pals on, but it gives you the opportunity to explore different shops and what they offer. As a blogger this was heaven, because I love trying new things and you all know sweets are my weakness- and I am obsessed with DONUTS. It also connected me to these two women who filled my day with laughter and made me feel more confident, beautiful and ready to take on any challenge. The power of connection is so very real when you have women like this at your side.

So here is a story about friends, donuts and something unexpected at the end, hope you enjoy the pictures and make sure to check these places out!!!
