Yoga & Food at Humanity Boutique-Lowell, MA

Last night was a fun filled night at Humanity Boutique in Downtown Lowell. The lovely owner, Ani provided the beautiful location and our beautiful teacher Christine who was just certified taught the amazing Yoga class. To collaborate is such an important part of being a local business and when you combine six strong women who want to better their communities in a myriad of ways you get an amazing night full of ideas, thoughts, relaxation and a bit of time to rejuvenate the mind and soul. Sutra Studio out of the Mill No 5 on Jackson St. in Lowell is where Christine goes often and it is a wonderful studio that offers a sincerely local feel and ambiance. After this class, I want to go and try out the different classes because no matter which stage you are in Yoga has proven to be relaxing and helpful to those wanting some stress relief and also builds incredibly lean muscles 🙂 After our hour long yoga session in which we learned a myriad of moves that …

The Ball-Happy New Year!!

What a night last night! Full of friends, music, bites to eat and champagne it was a night to be remembered. Guests were decked out in Gatsby inspired wear; women in dresses and pearls and men in suits and ties looking incredibly dapper. At an amazing cathedral on Merrimack St in Lowell, MA we spent the night laughing, having fun, taking pictures waiting until the clock struck twelve to ring in the New Year. This event, presented by Made In Lowell was another sold out event following their many successes in 2015. From the venue to the entertainment everything was stellar as usual. In all the blog posts leading up to the event, this is what I imagined it would be and again I am so happy and proud to be a part of a fantastic city. A city that can continue to grow and prosper when organizations like Made In Lowell really push the people around them to be better and strive for better things. Here’s to 2016, enjoy the good times learn from the …

The Ball-Made in Lowell

I’ve been able to be a part of many events this year, many presented by Made in Lowell a wonderful organization whose mission statement is one I can’t but help to agree with. “To enhance the economic vitality of our community by promoting Lowell as a year-round culinary, culture and shopping destination by maximizing collaborative partnerships, efficiently transition Lowell stories into effective sales and marketing programs, and cultivating a world-class visitor experience.”   I now have the opportunity to collaborate with them for their final event this year and it is going to be another wonderful event full of all the great things we love about Lowell and why we want others to come here and see what they could and would become if they were apart of our city. This first blog post is for me to let you all know that I am apart of this event and to encourage all of you to follow my next blog post about my journey to “The Ball”. What does this mean  you ask? Humanity Boutique

I have been wanting to do this blog post for a long time now, and I am so excited that I finally had the chance to do this. For several years a boutique in Downtown Lowell has had a special place in my heart and when I heard a new owner had taken over I had to meet her and I had to interview her. Because of this blog that I run I have had the opportunity to meet so many people and experience so many different aspects of everyday living. I want to give as much as I am given and more and I am just enormously proud of what this extremely intelligent and vivacious woman has done with Humanity and I hope you all enjoy the time I spent with her, the pictures we took and the conversation we had about all things Humanity! I was feeling super confident and carefree in these pictures below! Let me introduce to you Ani V. She is the owner of Humanity Boutique, funny, smart, outgoing, intelligent, …
